Update on the STS Integra RS
I realize that it's been a long time since there were any updates on the Integra RS. In fact, I believe it was last pictured bone stock. Well, not a whole lot has changed, but it is different nevertheless.
In the past several months I have been working towards campaigning this 94 Integra RS for the STS autocross class. Aside from the 89 Civic Si, there are not too many cars that have a legitimate chance at becoming the "class killer" car. In the back of my mind, I had always thought that the 94-95 Integra RS might be another competitive car, but I had never seen it tried before. I'm not trying to create a nationally competitive car, but in the meantime, it's a pretty fun daily driver that has been reasonably competitive in our local STS classes.
This past weekend marked my 5th event in the Integra since it was lightly prepared. I ended up in 5th out of 15 in a fairly competitive Louisville STS class. The top two finishers were about a second ahead of me in a well sorted 89 Civic Si on Bridgestone RE-01Rs. As I become more comfortable with the setup, I will update my progress and thoughts more on this site. For now, I am still getting used to the car as a whole.
